Looking for engaging and meaningful volunteer opportunities? Join us at Orange Literacy and work with adult English Language Learners! We are in need of two fall tutors for classes in our office:
- One tutor for a Beginning Literacy class from 4-5:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
- One tutor for an Intermediate class from 6-7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
The students in these classes are learning quickly and need new tutors to help continue their studies! The office is located on the second floor of Carr Mill Mall in Carrboro, at 200 N. Greensboro Street, Suite C-2. No prior tutoring or teaching experience is necessary. Training is provided. Contact Heather Bucurel ( hbucurel@orangeliteracy.org ) for more information.

Description
Orange Literacy offers free individualized instruction for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, basic math and English language skills or to prepare for the GED. Orange Literacy matches trained volunteer tutors with adult learners.
