Love animals? Looking for an output for your passion? You have found the right place! We are a rescue that has grown very quickly and need more people to help grow it!

This is a great place to get experience in a variety of fields, from animal care to marketing, sales and leadership. Not only do you get to do what you love but you get the opportunitiy to build your reputation and resume. Also, we try to pay back our volunteers where possible with free resources, seminars, discounts and more.

DIFFERENT POSITIONS

We are interested in two main areas: we are looking for people to help on the animal rescue coordination, and we are looking for people who enjoy applying their skills to recruitment, marketing, social media, fundraising and publicity.

With of course saving animals being the core of all the activity!

Example Coordinators (NOT LIMITED TO THESE):

• FOSTER COORDINATORS - supervises foster homes, helps find foster homes for dogs, oversees other foster team members, recruits new foster homes
• ADOPTION COORDINATORS - helps find homes for dogs in the program, markets the dogs for adoption, arranges home visits and processes adoption paperwork
• SENIOR COORDINATORS - runs and supervises the execution of our senior services and senior adoption programs.
• MARKETING COORDINATORS - focuses on improving brand recongnition, helps in executing events, prepares posters, contacts media and news organizations
• FUNDRAISING COORDINATORS - brings money in the rescue, arranges fundraising events, manages selling booths, etc.
• EVENT COORDINATORS - focuses on registering the rescue for events, arranging volunteers for the events and preparing the booth

RESPONSIBILITIES

All coordinators will be responsible for managing and executing activites required to aid the mission in saving animals. Depending on the interest, coordinators will be responsibe for a section of the rescue's activities.

For example, foster coordinators would spend their time helping guide new foster families, locating and recruiting foster homes and running orientations. Certain fosters will oversee specific program activities, such as our senior coordinators who will run our rescue's senior program, which means connecting with senior recreational centers, retirement communities, etc. to help ensure the effectivness of the program.

Also, all members will have to attend a bi-weekly meeting to plan and coordinate with the rescue.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

MOST IMPORTANT SKILL NEEDED: The passion and drive to do the best job possible! We will take passion, drive and willingness to learn over raw experience any day.

We need people who dominate in animal care experience, marketing experience, fundraising experience, or a combination in between. It is highly recommended for any position that you have good social skills and are willing to learn.
