Nonprofit providing hands-on cooking and nutrition information to children is seeking Curriculum Writer and Marketing volunteer.
Curriculum Writer -Edit and author existing cookbooks; facilitate translation of cookbooks into Spanish; determine age and state compliance appropriateness for each class. Publicize public events and market and promote classes, as well as donations.
Marketing - Project experience, including promotional duties, flyers and business cards. Publicize all events; market both paid and grant funded classes; market donation business. Work from our office in Concord, as well as off-site meetings.
Attend monthly board meetings. Two-year commitment preferred. Office located in Concord. Be willing to volunteer at our booths at local farmers’ markets and fairs and at fundraising events.
