Please join Global Citizen, in partnership with Friends of Sherwood Park and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, for a cleanup of Sherwood Park to kickoff the start of Love Your Park Week 2016. LOVE Your Park Week is an eight-day, citywide celebration of Philadelphia’s parks held each May. It features a week of service projects, fun events, educational programs, family activities, tours, and more at over 100 parks throughout Philadelphia.
Volunteers will perform general park clean up and painting. Work gloves will be provided, but volunteers may also bring their own. Please be sure to remember sunscreen, bring a bottle of water, and wear close-toed sturdy shoes.
