  • Festival locations include Tenth Avenue Arts Center, Spreckels Theatre, TRosewood Five Studios, Diversionary Theatre,and Lyceum Theatre!

San Diego International Fringe Festival is looking for volunteers of every background, skill-set, and availability.


Volunteering has its benefits! Perks include:

* Free Fringe T-Shirt!

* Free Shows! If you work 3 or more shifts you can see any show that is not sold out, at any time when you are not currently working a shift. Shifts range from 3 to 5 hours.

* Fun!


Box Office:

Key Responsibilities

-All Box Office operations including sales of single tickets and passes, daily reconciling of cash box, and customer service

-Be the face of Fringe to the public and Fringe artists

-Must be 18 years or older

Desired Qualifications

-Previous cash handling experience

-Comfortable with, or willing to learn, technological tools such as laptop computers, tablets, smartphones, ticket printers and credit card swipers that are essential to Fringe’s box office operations

-Excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment

-Grace and a sense of humor under pressure

We are a group focused on nurturing the arts in the community. As such, our current project is providing free afterschool theater and dance programs to schools that lack the funding. We also bring free workshops to schools who are interested in exposing their children to the arts.
