Now scheduling for SPRING yard clean-ups! From mid-March through Memorial Day, we will be hosting volunteer groups to help spruce up yards at our clients' homes.
Grab a few yard tools (rakes, pruners, gloves and shovels), and help clean up the yard for a group of individuals who are unable to do this maintenance themselves. Emmaus Home provides support services to individuals with disabilities in their homes. We operate about 70 community homes. While we contract the mowing and edging for the homes, we need help with just about everything else.
We can accommodate up to 10 people at each site, but we can set up multiple sites if needed. Help us make sure that Emmaus clients' homes are among the most well-maintained on the block.
Note - The address given is our corporate address. Community homes are located throughout West County, South County, St. Charles County, and the I70 corridor in Warren County.

Description
Since its inception in 1893, the primary purpose of Emmaus Homes has been to provide quality long-term supports for developmentally disabled adults when their own home and/or family situations are no longer a viable option. We provide residential services and habilitation services to people with developmental disabilities which includes autism, cerebral palsy, and some traumatic brain injuries.
Emmaus Homes addresses such needs as improving life skills, increasing decision-making abilities, expanding communications capacities and providing opportunities for recreational and educational activities in our cleint's communities.CAUSE AREAS
