The Outreach Volunteer will work with PPGMR staff to assist with and implement outreach strategies that engage community groups and individuals in the Memphis area. Outreach Volunteers will assist with some or all of the following:
- Tabling at community events
- Phone banking
- Meeting with legislators and their staff during the Planned Parenthood Lobby Day
- Crowd canvassing
- Neighborhood canvassing
- Registering people to vote
Volunteers should feel comfortable engaging with the community and should possess strong interpersonal skills.
