We are looking for team members to contribute to our ALIVE Rescue social media presence. This important role helps us share a wide range of ALIVE Rescue activities and of course all of our amazing animals!
Social Media Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Co-ownership (with team) of all social platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (TikTok up and coming)
- Creating and posting content to the above-mentioned channels
- Responding to audience inquiries on all channels
- Developing ways to increase followers on all channels
- Developing engaging, informative and FUN content to promote ALIVE Rescue and the animals we care for (Including special programs including: seniors, long termers and introverts)
- Cross team collaboration
- Work with the foster team and volunteers to gather information and photos/video for current animals to prepare content for posts
- Work with fundraising, sponsorship and adoption teams for various cross team content posts
- Onsite Activities **Please note the below items are not required and if agreed upon will follow social distancing and healthcare guidelines
- Visiting Paradise 4 Paws - Midway to capture photos/videos of animals
- Visiting fosters homes or agreed upon location to capture photos/videos of animals
- Attend ALIVE Rescue scheduled events to get photos/content for posts
- Additional Skills (not required)
- Graphic design (photoshop, etc.)

Description
ALIVE Rescue is a volunteer run organization who rescues cats and dogs who would otherwise be euthanized. ALIVE is proud to be the first green animal rescue in Chicago.
