Curious about how your favorite events go on without a hitch? Truth is, a lot of work is done by the hands of hardworking volunteers - kind hearted people like yourself! Become part of Team FroYo and help put on a deliciously different day for your community. Volunteering for the FroYo Run is a great opportunity for students, sports teams, community groups, and any individuals looking to spread smiles while having a great time.
The FroYo Run - Sacramento benefits the Children's Tumor Foundation. A non profit dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF), the term for three distinct disorders: NF1, NF2 and schwannomatosis.
Did we mention the volunteer perks?! Each volunteer shift is 3-4 hours and includes a super fashionable Volunteer T-shirt (gender-specific of course), a customized cup of frozen yogurt, community service hours, and thousands of high fives!
Swirl Shift: (5:00-7:45 AM)
Scan entry tickets & assign bib numbers
Assist with parking
Check bags at Bag Check
Sell Fashions at the merchandise tent
Berry Shift: (5:30-9:15 AM)
Assist at the Start & Finish lines
Prep and distribute finisher medals
Provide hydration & cheers at the aid stations and Motivation Stations
Gummy Shift: (6:15AM-10:45 PM)
Assist the DJ and Announcer
Help with FroYo Run stage games
Cookie Shift: (6:45-11:00AM)
Ensure safety of on-course equipment
FroYo Shift: (7:30-11:00AM)
Prep and serve Frozen Yogurt
Sprinkles Shift: (11:00AM-2:00PM)
Assist with event breakdown/clean up
