ORGANIZATION: Kansas City Public Library

The EFC Teacher will teach a weekly class to members of the community who are thinking about applying for U.S. Citizenship, but are not yet at the appropriate language level to succeed in a Citizenship Preparation class. The EFC Teacher will practice reading, writing, and speaking with students while focusing on vocabulary related to citizenship and civics. This unique class will provide a rewarding teaching experience as you get to know a culturally diverse group of individuals and build community by learning together.
