Do you enjoy gardening and stewarding native plants and landscaping? Then we have a great position for you!

Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy is looking for an Arboretum Assistant to take care of light stewardship of the Ironwood Arboretum. This person would undergo an orientation with Land Protection Director Tom Fanslow and would adopt a section of the arboretum to maintain. Additionally, this person would periodically take pictures of the Arboretum to be used in the Ironwood Square Community Arboretum facebook.

The Ironwood Square Community Arboretum is located behind the offices of CMLC, The Free Clinics, and the Children and Family Resource Center in Hendersonville, NC. Here is an article on the Arboretum in case you’d like to read more: http://www.blueridgenow.com/article/20150830/ARTICLES/150829832

Ideally, this position would be something a weekly contribution, for however many hours the Arboretum Assistant feels comfortable contributing. The Arboretum Assistant position is flexible once there is an orientation with our Land Protection Director Tom Fanslow.
