We have opportunities for our volunteers to work in the dog kennels by helping to feed and socialize the dogs that are at the center for adoption and for boarding/daycare. There are also opportunities for volunteers to feed and socialize with the cats that are available for adoption! We will train all volunteers, so no experience is necessary! We just need committed animal lovers :) we are also looking for people interested in administrative duties, as well as those experienced in fundraising or advertising.

Mission Statement

Positive Paws Rescue & Transport is a registered non-profit in the state of New Mexico. We focus on pulling animals out of high-kill shelters around the state, and we place them into foster homes while they recover from any illnesses and receive important vet care. We also transport other shelter animals to no-kill shelters in Colorado and Utah.

Description

Positive Paws Rescue & Transport is an animal rescue that focuses on helping animals in high kill shelters. From the shelters, our animals head to foster homes where they are cared for until they are vetted and ready for adoption. We recently have opened an adoption center, that focuses on finding animals homes six days a week. This center is run primarily by volunteers, and we are depending on the community to help us out!
