Cosmetologists Needed for Patient Hair Cuts

ORGANIZATION: Heritage Hospice

Give the gift of your time and talent. Pennsylvania licensed cosmetologists are needed to provide haircuts to home patients who are unable to travel outside the home.

We customize the experience for you including locations (distance from your home and geographical area) & frequency of visits (1-2 times a month to weekly). Mileage reimbursement is paid for travel to and from visits.

We provide all needed volunteer training and screening at no cost to you. Various convenient options are available for orientation. Volunteer hours which can be as little as a few a month.

These services may be provided at home, in an inpatient facility, nursing home or in another setting that best suits the needs of the patient and caregivers. Hospice care helps the person to live at home or in the most comfortable setting as long as possible, stay as active as possible, express and accept feelings, assists the family to care for their loved one, manage practical tasks, deal with stress, provide support and feel at peace.
