We are working with Frontier Middle School to bring in guest speakers to discuss a topic in food science or nutrition for a 25-to-30 minute presentation. Examples of topics that could be covered include careers in related fields, current or historical events in the field, or teaching the students a new skill. Presentation would ideally include PowerPoint/Prezi or delivery of a lesson plan.
The school is flexible in terms of the speakers' backgrounds; interested parties may contact Matthew Goosen at 360-952-3609 or matthew.goosen@nconnect.org.
Additional guest speaking opportunities are available on the topics of health & wellness, advanced math, careers in music/music & sound production, and digital art/photography & videography.
