Strengthen your muscle power for a good cause by transporting and/or organizing large donations of non-perishable food. All volunteers should be able to lift and carry large boxes of food weighing up to 50 lbs. We will be picking up food donations from the USPS Office on Sunset Hills Road and then taking it to the Rose Gallery at Lake Anne to sort and pack donations for stocking shelves and off site storage.

Description
Cornerstones helps individuals and families survive tough economic times in an already high cost-of-living community. Through advocacy and support services, we connect our clients to the vital resources they need to build more self-sufficient lives. Our success comes from a comprehensive array of programs, wrap-around services that solve urgent or on-going requirements for housing, childcare, food or financial assistance all with the goal to sustain healthy families, secure housing, and financial independence.
