Volunteers are needed to help support the busy front desk by greeting clients and visitors and doing administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, answering phones, and mailing. If you are a person who likes to do hands-on assignments and interact with people this is the opportunity for you.
Key activities
- Help assist the front desk with phones, copies, and other administrative duties
- Welcome clients and assist with client paperwork
- Serve as clients' first interaction at Neighbors and make appropriate referrals
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must be detailed-oriented and maintain confidentiality
- Able to treat everyone kindly and with respect
- Ability to interact with a variety of personality types and handle situations calmly and with patience
Available Shifts
- Mondays, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
- Fridays, 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Volunteers serve their neighbors in need through programs such as a food shelf, Clothes Closet thrift store, holiday assistance, and much more. At Neighbors, all donations and volunteer service directly supports the local community.
