Description:
Take children on adventures and journeys, thrill them with
wonder and excitement, and stimulate their imagination through
the art of storytelling!
Activities
1.Provide imaginative and exciting storytelling to children and their families
2.Read picture books or stories aloud.
3.Engage children in the stories through props and questions.
4.Facilitate art activity, if applicable.
5.Communicate story time behavior expectations.
6.Introduce oral tradition by singing simple childhood songs.
Desired Qualities
1. Minimum age: 16
2. Experience or education in storytelling for a group.
3. Enjoys children.
4. Background check required.
Training and Support
Training will be provided.
Time Commitment
6 months, 2 hours/month
