Volunteers needed for Tinkering Lab Makerspace
If you like working with your hands, fixing things and talking to people. We need an enthusiastic tech savvy person who is willing to work with the public in our Tinkering Lab Maker Space. Tinkering Lab volunteers will work with families and children to help them with our Maker Space’s 4 3-D printers, computers, and tools. A good Tinkering Lab volunteer will have or acquire the ability to engage visitors, ask inquiry based questions, and facilitate their hands-on learning. Volunteer shifts are 2 to four hours depending on availability.
The Tinkering Lab will be open in early June at scheduled hours on weekends and the summer. Open hours for miSci are 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday and Noon to 5 PM Sundays.
