Volunteers are regularly scheduled with weekly shifts where they facilitate state, national, and international visitor experience. The Bullock Texas State History Museum recognizes the power of history to inspire present and future generations. The Museum seeks to interpret the continually unfolding Story of Texas through meaningful educational experiences.
Description
The Bullock Texas State History Museum has three floors of exhibits and a temporary exhibit gallery that hosts touring exhibitions. In the Texas Spirit Theater, "The Star of Destiny" is a 15 minute multimedia experience focusing on the stories of determination, perseverance, and triumph that have formed the Texas spirit. The IMAX Theatre presents a moviegoing experience that's as big as Texas.
