Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower San Diego's diverse people and organizations to engage more effectively in our communities and in the civic process.

Description

Alliance San Diego is a community empowerment organization that builds coalitions to promote justice and social change. In the past year we have helped hundreds of community members gain temporary legal status through the Dreamer Assistance Network. We also assisted thousands of San Diegans to become citizens through the San Diego Naturalization Collaborative. During election season we mobilize tens of thousands to vote and participate in our democracy.

Some of our ongoing projects include:
Developing local school policies to ensure all students are prepared for the 21st century.
Reforming our state tax policies to reinvest in education and other public infrastructure.
Changing national border policies to increase oversight and accountability of border agents.
