ORGANIZATION: Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Inc

RLC mid-Hudson branch is looking for volunteers who are willing to drive to Freihofer's bakery in Hyde Park and pick up hot dog/hamberger buns and deliver to the Poughkeepsie Lunch Box in 29 N Hamilton St. every Tuesday early afternoon. The drive and delivery will take ~1hr. If you are interested in volunteering for this delivery or for other RLC Mid-Hudson deliveries please let us know!

Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a nonprofit organization committed to fighting food insecurity and preventing wasted food. We have cultivated a network of dedicated food rescuers who bring food directly from our food donors to nonprofit recipients, letting neighbors help neighbors while reaping the environmental and economic benefits of reducing wasted food. Founded in 2013, our simple, but elegant model has saved over 8 million pounds of food since our inception.
