Since 1987, Pastor Diane Dunne and Hope for the Future Ministries has been bringing God’s love to the people of New York and Long Island that are in need. Every week, hundreds of nutritious hot meals and pantry bags are served. With over 50,000 people sleeping every night in homeless shelters, Hope for the Future Ministries supplies:
- Food pantry supplies
- Hot nutritious meals
- Clothing and warm winter coats
- Sleeping bags and blankets
- Toiletry kits
- Job training
- Life skill coaching
- Referrals to drug and alcohol rehab
If you would like to volunteer, please call 631-752-5771 and ask for Pastor Diane. We need help with:
- Cooking hot nutritious meals
- Van driving to pick up donations of food and supplies
- Van driving from Farmingdale to Tompkins Square Park in New York City and back on Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Warehouse work (unloading vans and sorting food)
- Fund raising. We are an independent charity with no government support and rely on donations.
