At Preservation Durham we offer free walking tours that highlight Durham's downtown history and architecture. There are three tours: Durham's Tobacco History, Durham's Civil Rights History, Architecture and the Urban Landscape, and are given on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Saturday of the month, respectively, from April through November.
We are looking for guides to lead these tours. If you are interested in Durham's history, enjoy being outside and like speaking with people, this is the opportunity for you!
