Family Pathways is hosting a community chore day on Saturday, May 7th at pre-selected homes in Isanti Counties. We are looking for 2 teams of 4-6 people to perform basic outdoor chores and do the little things that help an older neighbor get ready for Spring.
The teams can either work together on the clients' homes or or split up and and each team work on 3-4 client homes. Each team will provide their own transportation from one client to the next.
Things you might do:
Yard clean-up
Small outdoor home repairs
Cleaning up flower and vegetable gardens
Plant flowers
Sweep out garages
Clean windows and doors
Minor painting jobs
Removing storm windows
Homeowners will supply all materials and supplies (garbage bags, flowers, soil, etc.

We have been committed to standing by the side of our neighbors since 1978. We’ve done this by working together with partners, individuals, businesses, organizations, and faith communities who are passionate about their communities. Over the past four decades, we’ve adapted to the needs of the communities we serve in the City of Forest Lake; Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine Counties in Minnesota and Polk County in Wisconsin.
Family Pathways’ support services provides healthy food access, domestic and sexual violence prevention and victim services, supervised visitation, services for older adults and caregivers.
Volunteers come from all walks of life, backgrounds, service groups, businesses, youth groups, and educational systems. Some are brought to our agency through the court system to complete community service hours. We strive to provide everyone with an opportunity to contribute.
