CREATING THE JOURNAL
As a way to help patients fulfill these desires, Crossroads Hospice helps patients create a Life Journal to pass on their love, experience, and advice by capturing stories through words and pictures. It is what we call our Gift of Blessings and Gratitude.
If you enjoy listening to stories and interviewing, join Crossroads Hospice Volunteer Journaling program to help our patients know that their life mattered.
Training will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to to use your creative interviewing and writing skills.
Training will be available near you for your convenience or you can attend our training at our Lenexa office on Saturday July 23, 2016. 9am - 1:30pm.
For more information please call the Volunteer Department Veronica Evans or Shelia Freeman 913-850-7500

Mission Statement
Crossroads is committed to being at the forefront of the hospice care industry, to continually shape the way palliative care is viewed and administered so that everyone can expect more from us.
Description
Expect More From Us. We Do. Why not? That's a questions we ask ourselves every day. In fact it is the question responsible for our beginning and has made us what we are today. Because "why not?" helps us find new and better ways to deliver hospice care to patients, families, caregivers and health care professionals alike. It helps us connect with our communities, share our knowledge, be accessible 24/7, innovate, lead and raise the bar. In fact, "why not?" has helped us create a hospice experience we believe is second to none...and are confident you'll agreee.
