Welcome to Walk MS: Northwest Arkansas 2016! We are excited to have you join us for this amazing event. Walk MS is a fundraiser that helps us team up with friends, loved ones and co-workers to change the world for everyone affected by MS. Together, we become a powerful force. And with every step we take, every dollar we raise...we’re that much closer. Together, we will end MS forever.

We are proud that Walk MS: Northwest Arkansas raises over $60,000 every year, and thank you for being a part of that achievement as a VOLUNTEER supporting this event!

Join us at Lake Fayetteville for a morning of fun! Volunteers Activities include: Event Set Up, Decorating the Walk Route, Greeting Participants, Helping with Registration, Keeping an eye on the Kids' Zone, Distributing Food and Drinks, Cheering on Participants, Helping with Site Tear Down, and much more!

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS..

The South Central Region, headquartered in Houston, TX is made up of five states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico.

Seeking out and engaging volunteers to join the movement is at the very core of our organization.

We engage volunteers at every level. Join an event committee, volunteer at a walk or bike event, advocate at the capitol, volunteer at our office, no matter how you choose to contribute, you are doing something about MS now!

The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to share their time and talent to help stop MS!
