Catholic Charities of Lake County is seeking volunteers for garden maintenance (watering, weeding, picking, and preparing vegetable garden) throughout the months of April-October. Gardening experience is helpful! Garden volunteers will need to be on-site minimally one time per week during their assigned weeks. Days and hours can be flexible but all garden work must be done during agency business hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm. The vegetables harvested through the Lake County Catholic Charities Garden will be distributed to clients who are accessing our food pantry services. Volunteer your green thumb for the benefit of your community!
