ORGANIZATION: Help At Your Door

Training held Tuesday, Jan 17 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Would you like to assist seniors have access to food resources? Help At Your Door is a nonprofit serving seniors (60+) who need some help to remain at home.

Would you like to make a difference in someone's life? Volunteer Order Takers are critically needed. Order Takers volunteer about one hour each week from their home, calling the same clients and entering their grocery orders in an online system.

FYI - Volunteer Order Takers are assigned a total of four seniors, calling two people each week. Order Takers use their own phone and computer/tablet to connect to our web-based ordering system. This Virtual Volunteering makes it easy volunteer at home, during a lunch break at work, or in any other location where you have online access. We add hundreds of new seniors to our service each year, and many seniors are currently waiting for a volunteer match!

Help At Your Door provides our clients with the services and resources necessary to remain vivacious and supported in life, while also providing families with the knowledge and security to ensure that their home is the best place for them to be. Volunteers provide grocery ordering and shopping services, handyman help, transportation, and chore services.
