ORGANIZATION: Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization
Please visit the new page to apply.
You don't have to be a quilter to help with the Wednesday morning quilting group that meets weekly at the Betty Ehart Senior Center in Los Alamos. Volunteer quilters make between 2 and 4 simple, tied quilts a week that are then donated to the Youth Shelter in Santa Fe and to the Ronald McDonald House in Albuquerque. Volunteers are needed to cut out fabric, sew, iron or tie these quilts. This group meets Wednesday mornings from 8:30 - 11:30 am.
