We are an all volunteer daytime homless shelter located in downtown Lexington, Ky. Our main goal is to provide a safe shelter for our homeless clients during the day, and to help make them better!
We need volunteers to serve coffee and donuts each morning, work in our check in booth, and to drive our daily van used to drive homeless clients to critical appointments.
We are a Christ-centered ministry and our clients have the opportunity to hear about Jesus if they wish!

Description
New Life Day Center is a one-stop daytime alternative to the streets where persons affected by extreme poverty and homelessness can seek help and refuge. New Life Day Center provides daytime shelter, secure personal locker storage, and daily van transportation to the people most in need in our community. Also available to clients:long distance phone, four desktop computers with high speed internet, a daily pastry breakfast, and public restrooms.
