ORGANIZATION: Project for Pride in Living (PPL)

Do you like to cook? Help us launch a new parent/child program!

PPL has a new Thursday parenting class for families transitioning from homelessness. Childcare and a meal are key to successful sessions and remove barriers to participation.

We're seeking volunteers (individual, family, or group) to provide a healthy lunch meal for 20 parents and 5 preschoolers (on Thursdays from 4/28-6/2). Lasagna, sandwich fixings, or soup/salad/bread are just a few ideas (no pork or tomatoes, please! due to diets and allergies).

Plan, shop, prepare, and deliver a meal: for refrigeration on Wednesday (arrange dropoff between 9 am-4:30 pm) or Thursday morning (9:30-11 am) to our South Minneapolis site.

If you enjoy cooking and feeding people, please contact Elle Janss at elle.janss@ppl-inc.org to make a difference with our residents!
