Mercy Hospital has a variety of opportunities that you can join to make a difference.
Choose to get involved with the following opportunities:
- Messenger Service
- Information desk
- Gift shop
- Heart center
- Emergency department
- Surgical waiting area
- Intensive care waiting lounge
- Office receptionist
Shifts are available every other week or weekly, depending on the position. Evening and Weekend shifts are immediately available.
Training: All volunteers are required to attend a general orientation and position training.
Benefits: Volunteers receive a meal during thier shift. Volunteers feel good knowing they have positively impacted lives of others.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
The Anoka County RSVP connects people age 55 and over who want to volunteer with non-profit and social service programs in Anoka County who need volunteers. Volunteers enroll by completing a skills and interests checklist and these are matched to community needs. From the matches, the volunteer selects a volunteer job that is meaningful and fits. Become one of nearly a half million RSVP volunteers across the country who are making a difference in their community.
