Inform and inspire third-graders while teaching them about local government and businesses. Volunteers receive a three-hour training that prepares them to deliver six one-hour, hands-on presentations based on superb materials developed by Junior Achievement and the City of Carlsbad. The last class is a mock City Council meeting held in the Carlsbad City Council Chamber. Classes begin in April and the exact time can be arranged with your assigned teacher.
