If you like working with children and would like to help families in need, then this is the volunteer opportunity for you. We are in need of reliable, kid friendly volunteers to assist staff during our evening enrichment program.
The Children's Program is designed for children at ages 4 to 11 years who currently live in a family homeless shelter. The program encourages learning and building healthy relationships with other children through reading, art, music, technology and other activitites. Volunteers may also be asked to help children with homework. Our library is open from 5:00-6:30 each night and available for children to use as a quiet place to complete their homework.
Volunteer help is needed from 5:00 - 7:00pm. We are in need of a volunteer onFridays. Contact Diana for more information!
