Muddy Paws Rescue is looking for volunteers with cars - vans and minivans are great, but compact cars work too! We often need help picking up dogs from transport arrivals, bringing larger dogs to and from adoption events to get some exposure, and getting dogs to vet appointments when necessary. If you have a car, you could be an essential part of helping these dogs find their forever homes!
Gas and tolls will be reimbursed for longer distances! Please contact us for more information and to get your name on our driver list!

Mission Statement
Muddy Paws Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing adoptable dogs from high kill shelters and placing as many as possible into wonderful forever homes. Support is provided to adopters throughout the application process and post-adoption to help facilitate the transition for both the dog and the adopter. Muddy Paws Rescue promotes a welcoming, warm community for potential adopters and volunteers through thorough communication and a supportive environment.
Description
Muddy Paws Rescue was founded in 2015 by a long-time animal rescue volunteer and worker. At Muddy Paws Rescue, our goal is to place dogs into the best matched homes possible, and to communicate well with adopters and the public. We hope to place close to 500 dogs in 2016. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes, and we hold weekly adoption events and adoption hours so that the dogs all get some public exposure. Volunteers are the backbone of Muddy Paws Rescue, and we couldn't do it without you!
