Volunteers are needed to help run the 2016 Tour de Cure. Saturday volunteers will have the opportunity to help set up for the event or mark the roads for each route. Sunday volunteers will have many different options from registration to clean up. All volunteers will be provided breakfast, lunch, or snacks as well as a volunteer t-shirt. Come out and help our fight to Stop Diabetes!
Saturday, July 16th:
- Set-Up at the High School: 9 am-3 pm
- Route Marking: 9 am-3 pm
Sunday, July 17th:
- Registration (requires training): 5:30 am-11:30 am
- Greeters: 5:30 am-12 pm
- Food Set Up/ Distribution: 6 am-1:30 pm
- Motorcycle Support: 6:30 am-5 pm*
- Medical Volunteer: 6:30 am-5 pm*
- Rest Stop Volunteers/Coordinators: 7 am--5 pm *
- Route Sign Pick-Up: 4 pm--6 pm
- Clean-Up: 5 pm-7 pm
*Various start/finish times.

Description
Research: Founded in 1940, the Association has been funding innovative diabetes research since 1955. Through our Nationwide Research Program, we are working to find the cure for and prevention of diabetes and its many health problems.
Information:The Association reaches millions of people annually through its information activities and awareness efforts, the Association's toll-free National Call Center-1-800-DIABETES (1-800-342-2383), web site-www.diabetes.org, monthly consumer magazine, Diabetes Forecast, outreach to communities most at risk for diabetes and programs to help children with diabetes and their families.
Advocacy:The Association fights on behalf of the diabetes community to increase federal funding for diabetes research and programs, and end discrimination against children and adults with diabetes.
