The Outreach Coordinator will coordinate and attend events promoting and representing the Caring Community Foundation at third party events, community lunch and learns, nonprofit fairs, etc. The Outreach Coordinator will report to the Executive Director. This position requires a time commitment of 3-5 hours monthly with additional bimonthly committee meetings.
Must have excellent public speaking and presentation skills. The Outreach Coordinator must know how to connect with others and forge strong relationships. They must be organized and creative.More opportunities with THE CARING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION INC

Mission Statement
The Caring Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides financial support to cancer patients in need by providing assistance with rent, utilities, treatment or other expenses that become difficult to manage during cancer treatment.
Description
The Caring Community Foundation is run largely by volunteers. As was the goal for the very first patient, the organization raises money to provide financial assistance to cancer patients undergoing cancer treatment in need in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Through the help of social workers, patients are identified and receive checks to help pay for rent, food, transportation, daycare - the bare necessities. Just one example: One woman with cancer and receiving hospice care was just about to be evicted from her home when the Caring Community Foundation stepped in to pay her monthly mortgage payment. Our goal at CCF is to make the gift of giving a seamless, effective process.
