ORGANIZATION: The Hudson Gardens & Event Center

PURPOSE OF JOB: The purpose of this position is to provide general office support for educational projects and programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Duties include:

  • Replenish and renew supplies for field trip programs.
  • Assist with educational projects as needed, including filing, sorting, making copies, laminating, etc..

Shift Information:

  • Every Wednesday or Friday, 1:30-3:30 pm; May-June and September-October. Additional shifts scheduled as needed July-August.

Location:

  • Indoors, onsite at Hudson Gardens.

Attire and equipment (provided by the volunteer):

  • Closed-toe shoes; a nametag will be provided.

Description

The Hudson Gardens & Event Center is a regional display garden, showcasing plants that grow well in Colorado’s Front Range climate. Our thirty acres of gardens are designed to educate and inform our guests by providing diverse opportunities to gain knowledge about plants, gardening, wildlife, and environmental stewardship. Hudson Gardens is also a multipurpose recreational facility featuring educational displays and programs, cultural and community events, and venues for private social and corporate gatherings. Since 2012, Hudson Gardens has offered free general admission to the community.
