We are planning a Team Photo Scavenger Hunt and Amazing Race through Souderton on 10/8 from 12-3. We have businesses that will be stops along the way along with other clues. We are looking for individuals who would like to help get corporate sponsors for this event, get posters hung up on public bulletin boards, businesses, daycares/preschools, promoting it to businesses as a great team building event, getting raffles, etc. We will need help the day of the event also.
Probably the biggest help we need is promoting this event to get the registrations early. This is not an event that can happen with hopes of registration the day of the event. We need registration early for this event to be successful!

Mission Statement
Provide special dietary food and fresh produce to low-income individuals in the Montgomery County area To be a key player in the distribution and education of dietary needs of lower income individuals
Description
We currently distribute fresh produce and special dietary foods to more than a dozen pantries. We get regular donations from manufacturers of special dietary foods. We also have opportunities for groups, organizations or individuals can get a list of foods we need and do a collection for us. Last year we distributed over 30,000 pounds of fresh produce to our pantry partners and low-income senior housing and senior centers that provide a free or reduced lunch for seniors during the week.
We have a partnership with a wholesale produce distributor and several farms. They call us when they have extra produce. We pick it up and distribute it. We are on track to double the amount we did last year.
We also have a gardening program where we teach low-income families how to grow their own organic produce. We give them a place to grow, plants, and seeds. Everything they grow is extra food for the families to keep. This year we have 15 families participating with 20 plots planted!
