Do you have an extra hour or two during your week to donate to a hospice patient and their family? If so, we want to hear from you! Many local families are caring for their loved ones receiving hospice in their own home. Staff & Volunteers sometimes sit with the patient for a couple hours so that the caregiver can leave the home to run errands or even just take a break.
No hands on care is provided by the volunteer. You may simply be present in the home to watch over the patient as they rest. Or you may sit together and visit over a cup of coffee. No more than 2 hours per week is expected of the volunteer.

Running errands for patients or caregivers
Assisting in the office
Becoming a Caring Friend
Delivering Birthday Balloons to Hospice Patients
Taking your pet to visit Hospice Patients
