Kids Care Program Presenter -
The Arkansas Blood Institute is looking for volunteers to provide our Kids Care Program Presentations in the community's elementary schools. Program Presenters will coordinate with school blood drive representatives to provide informational sessions concerning ABI's work and mission, provide education presentations/activities and teach students how they can advocate and help recruit donors for their blood drive. The Kids Care Program Presenter will also help the school's representatives with distribution of recruitment tools and rewards.
The ideal candidate:
1. Be able to engage and supervise elementary aged children in lessons and activities
2. Possess creativity, enthusiasm and be comfortable with basic math, science, reading and grammar.
3. Will possess public speaking skills. Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
4. Background check is required.
The Arkansas Blood Institute will provide training and presentation materials. The Kids Care Program Presenter is a unique and fun way to give back to the community as well as educating children on the importance of blood donation and community service!
