We are in need of additional tutors. These tutors will work with our clients to assist them in improving their reading skills. We currently use the Laubach Method. Our tutors meet with clients in a one on one situation for one hour per week. Tutoring sessions are scheduled for Mondays or Wednesdays between 9 am and 12 noon or Tuesdays or Thursdays between 1 pm and 4 pm.
We do ask that all volunteers arrive 30 minutes prior to start times to prepare for the days activity. We also ask that all volunteers attend Volunteer Orientation which is offered on Tuesdays at 1 pm.
