ORGANIZATION: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay

  • 12 people are interested

In our own lives, each of us was touched by someone - other than our parents - who introduced us to new worlds and broadening our horizons... catching fireflies for the first time, flying a kite, a first trip to the ballpark, building sandcastles at the beach, eating an ice cream sundae. By becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister, you can do the same for a child. And you will both be forever changed by the experience.

We need volunteer mentors (18 or older) that can commit at least 12 months to developing a one-on-one friendship with a child aged 5 - 15. Volunteers receive training and full support while mentoring. Experience with children isn't required to be a great mentor just commitment! Have fun, learn new skills, and introduce the world to a child.
