Let's get dirty to beautify Mission Bay Park! Volunteers will be working within the Mission Bay Park Native Plant Demonstration Area to remove weeds and plant native species. No experience necessary! This is a great project to do as a family or as a team building exercise with your community group or club.
Please wear clothes that can get a little dirty and sun protection.
Closed-toed shoes are required.

The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
