Marshmallow Bridges

9 Dots was founded by a passionate group of engineers and educators who believe all kids deserve the chance to choose their own futures. Every day during the school year, we run a free program called Lead LA in our Learning Center in Hollywood, where students get the chance to develop themselves as leaders, express themselves artistically, and take fun technology classes.

We are looking for volunteers to assist in our after school program, Lead LA, M-Th from 2:45 - 5:30 PM! As a TA with our program, you'll work closely with students during their leadership, technology, and art classes, helping them build the confidence to achieve their dreams.

Mission Statement

9 Dots' mission is to use education to close access gaps for students in underserved communities. We focus on STEM skills (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), working to lay a solid foundation for futures in tech fields. These are the fastest growing job sectors today, and are fields where underserved communities are highly underrepresented. At our Hollywood-based learning center, we run a free after-school program and develop learning initiatives that give our youth better access to education in order to help them achieve their dreams.
