Stop Modern Slavery is a group of dedicated and dynamic volunteers united by our desire to combat human trafficking. We are currently seeking a qualified applicant to serve as Training Director. The Training Director serves as part of the Stop Modern Slavery Leadership Team. The successful candidate will manage the Stop Modern Slavery Training Program which provides free community training sessions that promote awareness about human trafficking, particularly as it applies in the Washington DC metro area. The Training Director also oversees a team of qualified trainers and schedules and coordinates trainings. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the movement against trafficking in persons in its various forms occuring internationally, nationally and around the DC metro area. Excellent organizational skills, research skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences are highly desired. Stop Modern Slavery is an all volunteer organization so dedication to the cause and reliablity are paramount.
