When school is out, camp is in! Discovery Center offers STEAM-based camps year round and is in need of Counselors in Training(CIT) to assist with the camps. As a camp counselor in training you will be assisting camp counselors and educators with children in grades K-5. CITs will assist in delivering age-appropriate activities and crafts and may assist Discovery Center education staff with programming focused on nature, animals, science, and engineering. Camps are all day camps beginning at 9:00 am and running until 4:00 pm. For more information on dates and camp themes you can visit www.explorethedc.org/volunteer or contact Katie Woodward( kwoodward@explorethedc.org) for a CIT application or more information.
