We will be offering a morning of learning and working on the refuge open to the public to anyone willing to work hard and learn. From 9:00am-12:00pm we will take you out on the Humbug unit of the refuge and show you how our stewardship crew manages the habitat. Registration required.

Description
The Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge is located along the lower Detroit River and western shoreline of Lake Erie, just 20 miles south of Detroit and 50 miles north of Toledo, Ohio. Situated in a major metropolitan area, the refuge’s location is truly unique.
