We are looking for community-minded individuals to be part of something BIG! Learn more about joining the planning committee for Walk to End Alzheimer's: the world's largest Alzheimer's awareness and fundraising event. Join the Santa Maria Walk to End Alzheimer's volunteer committee today! The Walk takes place on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Waller Park Lakeside Terrance.

We are currently looking for volunteers (Chairs and Subcommittee Memebers) to fill the following roles:
  • Sponsorship Chair
  • Team Recruitment Chair
  • Team Retention Chair
  • Mission Chair
  • Marketing & Outreach Chair
  • Logistics Chair

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Since 1989, the Alzheimer’s Association mobilized millions of Americans in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk; now the Alzheimer’s Association is continuing to lead the way with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Held annually in more than 650 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s - the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.
