Students making mochi!

Join Kizuna for an afternoon of mochi making as we have a kagami-mochi making competition! Children and volunteers will learn about the cultural significance of mochitsuki (pounded rice cake) as we all make and mold mochi together!

Volunteers will assist children ages 7-12 in food preparation and making. Volunteers will also help prepare and serve the food.
